How to fix it

  1. Empty freezer and remove the rear inner panel to expose the evaporator fan.
  2. Inspect for ice buildup — if present, also troubleshoot defrost (see dE).
  3. Verify the fan blade spins freely by hand.
  4. Reseat the fan harness and run a service test cycle.
  5. Measure for supply voltage at the fan during a cooling call.
  6. Replace the evaporator fan motor if it has power but does not run.
