How to fix it
- Inspect the inlet cold-water filter and clean of debris.
- Descale the unit with vinegar or CLR using isolation valves and a pump for 60-90 minutes.
- Check for crossed hot/cold lines at any mixing valve or fixture.
- Inspect heat exchanger for visible scale or soot.
