The motor inverter detected excessive current draw. Either the motor is mechanically bound, a winding is shorted, or the inverter itself is failing.

How to fix it
- Unplug the washer.
- Spin the empty tub by hand — should rotate freely with mild resistance.
- If rough/grinding, the bearing is failed (often economic write-off on cheaper units).
- Shine a light between basket and tub; remove any foreign object.
- Measure motor windings — replace motor if shorted.
- If mechanics and motor are good, replace the inverter board.
