How to fix it

  1. Pause the cycle and manually redistribute the load.
  2. Remove a few items if the drum is overpacked.
  3. Run Drain & Spin to retry.
  4. Verify the washer is level — adjust front feet.
  5. On top-loaders, check the suspension rods (4) — replace as a set if any are weak.
  6. On front-loaders, inspect shock absorbers under the tub.
