How to fix it
- Open the lid/door and redistribute the load by hand.
- Add a few towels to balance a single heavy item.
- Run Drain & Spin.
- If UB recurs with normal loads, level the washer and check feet for grip.
- Inspect suspension components if leveling doesn't help.
Why it happens
Typical signs: UB or Ub on display · Clothes come out wetter than normal · Loud banging during spin
- Single heavy item with light items Jeans plus a few t-shirts, or one wet towel by itself.
- All items on one side after wash Load tangled and stuck against the tub wall.
- Washer not level Tub can't self-center.
