F01 — Main Control Board Fault

The main electronic control board (ACU) has detected an internal fault or lost communication with itself. The dryer will typically not start or will stop mid-cycle.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes to attempt a hard reset, then restore power.
  2. If the code returns, unplug again and access the control board (usually behind the top panel).
  3. Reseat all wire harness connectors on the ACU and the user interface board.
  4. Inspect the board for burn marks, swollen capacitors, or corrosion.
  5. If physically damaged or the code persists after reseating, replace the main control board (ACU).
  6. After replacement, run a test cycle to confirm operation.
