How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer and remove the front panel/toe kick to access the back of the sensor strips.
- Confirm both push-on terminals are firmly seated on the sensor.
- Measure continuity from the sensor terminals back to the ACU connector — should be a clean low-resistance path.
- Repair or replace the harness if open.
- If wiring is intact, replace the moisture sensor.
- Reassemble and run an auto-dry cycle to verify.
