F30 — Restricted Airflow / Clogged Vent

How to fix it
- Clean the lint screen and wash it with warm soapy water to remove softener film, then dry fully.
- Disconnect the transition duct from the back of the dryer and vacuum out the dryer outlet.
- Run the dryer briefly on Air Fluff and feel for strong airflow at the exterior hood — weak flow means the duct or hood is restricted.
- Clean the full duct run with a dryer vent brush; remove and clean the exterior hood.
- Replace any crushed flex transition hose with smooth metal duct.
- If airflow is correct externally but the code persists, inspect the blower wheel inside the dryer for damage.
